I received my Bachelors of Music in Cello Performance from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester New York in 2015. After graduating, I moved to Chicago Illinois, where I have enjoyed an active teaching, performing, recording and touring schedule. String students: For both younger and adult beginners, I like to use a combination of the Suzuki books and the Essential Elements series. I then usually work on scales, technique and etudes, and then work on any major repertoir that may have been assigned. I then finish by setting goals for the week, and answering any further questions. I a very upbeat and engaging teacher, and I am not afraid to adress problems head on. I find it important to both acknowledge accomplishments and use effective criticizm.
