I am a Music Educator with a lot of trumpet playing experience. I have never stopped playing my trumpet. I practice my trumpet as time permits and perform every chance I have. I like to travel and study musical styles and instruments from different countries. I also love the outdoors. I am passionate about instrumental music and want my students to feel the same. They learn to read music almost immediately, and I give them the tools to be able to pick up any piece of music and play it independently. I traveled to California for college, where I received a Bachelor of Music Composition degree from Biola University. While in college, I continued engraving, was hired to compose music for musical plays, taught piano privately, and directed the music at my church. I first took up clarinet at 10, and later added flute, but saxophone has been my main focus over the years.
