A typical lesson includes fundamentals (scales, articulation, embouchure), etudes, sight reading, solo repertoire, and duets....plus anything the student is working on in their current performing ensemble(s). I use a wide variety of method books like Learn To Play The Clarinet, Rubank Methods, Lazarus Method for Clarinet, Klose Celebrated Method for Clarinet, and a multitude of etude studies from Rose to Cavallini. While I was in student at Roosevelt University I won audition for Civic orchestra of Chicago. While I was in Civic orchestra I played as a soloist with the Chicago Symphony orchestra ( Mozart Sinfonia Concertante for Four Winds). After graduating from Roosevelt University I won 2nd/ e-flat clarinet position in South Bend Symphony orchestra.
