I have been fortunate to be able to teach at a prestigious private school in New Hampshire for over 30 years and have worked with a wide range of students, both high school age and adult to help them develop their skills as budding saxophone, clarinet and flute players. My main goal in my teaching style is to develop the passion for music in students, music helps them to analize and think, create and provide progress in their school activities and classes. I'm trying always to create a friendly atmosphere using an entry point to better explained a musical piece and its characteristics. I also motivate them reproducing videos and recordings of specific music styles, famous clarinet players. I found very productive to help them to associate musical ideas with colors, images, animals, movies and cartoons that develops imagination and creativity. Read More

My teaching experience began as community outreach & engagement with the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra's "Crescendo" program. I ran group clarinet lessons and performed in Boston Public Schools. I entered a similar relationship with teaching when I relocated to Chicago in 2016 to play with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago. Upon my return to Boston, I began teaching privately and joined the faculty of the North End Music & Performing Arts Center where I am a Woodwind Teaching Artist for the Eliot Band Program, as well as teach private lessons. I'm a recent transplant to Brooklyn, NY after spending seven wonderful years studying and working in Boston! Originally from Gainesville, Florida, I first learned piano, then added saxophone, clarinet, flute, and bass in my middle and high school years. I went on to receive a Bachelor's degree from the University of Miami and a Master's degree from the New England Conservatory in Boston.
