My passion for teaching began in my Junior year of high school in 2011-2012, when I spent 6 months teaching guitar lessons to elementary school students at a local YMCA after-school program. With a class size of approximately 10-15 students, I learned many valuable teaching methods for students of all backgrounds and learning methods. I start teaching to beginners, mostly kids and teenagers, the French Clarinet Method of H. Klose book 1 accompained by an appropiate solo repertoire for the level and warm up excersices, once the student has progressed with all the clarinet fundamental tecniques I introduce the second part of the method and varied solo pieces that can be performed in solo recital performances, and school concerts. For beginner piano students I generally work out the Faber Piano Adventures and for adults I use The Older Beginner Piano Course by Bastien. For Flute students I use the Trevor Wye Beginners Book for the Flute. Clarinet I use the Rubank Method books. Together we will create a custom approach so that you will love the experience of playing the music you love.  I will share fun and efficient ways to practice so that you get immediate results. I then picked up tenor saxophone to play in the jazz big band, and I began my piano journey at the end of high school to diversify my musical knowledge! I have had various private students since 2006, teaching students in many topics including, saxophone, clarinet, jazz theory, composition, improvisation, and jazz piano.
