I have recently moved to the beautiful state of Florida, and love it here! New Mexico was my home prior to moving here. I have performed in many ensembles, and do solo recitals annually. My performance experience includes Symphony Orchestras, Pit Orchestras, Wind Ensembles, Chamber Music, Polka Band, Latin Band, Big Band, and I have been a guest soloist on several occasions. Many of my students received Superior ratings for their solos or ensembles, were selected for All-State / All-county bands in their counties, and have been selected as members of their county youth orchestra. I have also served as a public school music educator in Florida for 15 years at both the middle and high school level. I am a graduate of the Edna Manley College of the Performing Arts where I studied Music Education. I also have a diploma in Piano Performance and Teaching from the Royal College of Music. I've found that presenting multiple solutions to varying problems gives the students the best chance to succeed and it's not that someone cannot learn, they just haven't been presented with an explanation they can understand and clicks for them.
