My teaching experience began as community outreach & engagement with the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra's "Crescendo" program. I ran group clarinet lessons and performed in Boston Public Schools. I entered a similar relationship with teaching when I relocated to Chicago in 2016 to play with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago. Upon my return to Boston, I began teaching privately and joined the faculty of the North End Music & Performing Arts Center where I am a Woodwind Teaching Artist for the Eliot Band Program, as well as teach private lessons. I'm a recently graduated student from Longy School of Music of Bard College with a Master Degree in Clarinet Performance. I started my musical career while been a College student in my native country, Cuba. My performing experience has been very varied, from the Cuban Clarinet Quartet Ebanos de La Habana to the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba and the Ballet and Opera Orchestra of Havana.
