My teaching style is very flexible in that all students are different, and learn in different ways. Ive taught really young kids and Ive also taught seniors. Regardless of what percussion studies a student does and does not want to pursue, I start with a strong focus on the nuts and bolts of percussive technique. Doing these techniques can open the door to any number of advanced percussion areas. However, just because rudimentary techniques are necessary doesn't mean they can't be fun!
