Like people have fitness plans to achieve their goals, I like to create a learning plan with the student. I have taught for over twenty years to all ages and levels. I teach the fun way by teaching the student what they would like to know by tailoring each lesson to fit there personal goals, needs and questions. I've taught all genres and also teach special needs including autistic, handicapped, and blind. As well I've also taught a couple grammy winning musicians. For any level I like to check to see if they have a solid enough grasp on fundamentals. For drum kit users I like to only have the kick drum, snare and hi-hat available. If its a more experienced player, I like to have them play a simple groove just to see where they are and tailor how I teach them to most benefit where they would like to go in their journey.
