While receiving my Bachelor's of science in Psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University I took instruction from the Jazz faculty and became passionate in how to effectively manage cognition in the physical motions necessary to play the drums. I have been playing drums for 14 years and started when I was 10. The influence I had from other drummers that I saw was what sparked my interest in playing them.
