For the begginer I like to start by exploring and accessing their ability to do anything musical in the drumset while showing them some very basic and familiar drum beats. Shortly after I introduce them to the foundations and building blocks of drum playing through visual, auditive cues as well as introducing music theory knowledge. Music reading is one of the most important skill to learn as you progress. Drum Books will be used for the classes For intermediate and Advance , I also make an accessment to find out where they are in terms of drum technique, drum culture, all the music styles that they are familiar as well as unfamiliar with. I will begin with what the student is interested in, work with songs or genres that they like and go from there. I will always make it fun and engaging no matter their ability level. I will teach with some of the Agostini's books for every level, and some books that I used in school. We will learn, develop rudiments, grooves, concepts ideas, independance together and make it fun. It will be an exchange between me and the student about music, the instrument, his/her experience and mine, everything that I can help with and make it enjoyable. Read More

While most of my teaching, over the years, has been primarily private, I also have several years of classroom teaching experience. One of my motto's is that I am an educator first, music is simply the vehicle by which I choose to educate. Read More

Ultimately my goal is for my students to develop a love and lifestyle that is grounded in music. With that in mind, each student determines their own progress by how much time and effort they put into what they learn. I set goals that encourage students to reach their full potential if they put forth the effort. Students should be acknowledged when they accomplish something, and they should also be told when they need to improve. Read More

If the student is beginner, I like to start teaching basic knowledge of instrument technique accompanied by easy rhythms so that the student feels motivated. Read More
