If I have a student who is struggling with fundamentals, then we will focus on fundamentals. If I have a student who is struggling with articulations, then we will focus on articulations in lessons. I love the drums! Tapping, beating, thumping on everything around the house drove my parents to sign me up for my first drum lesson when I was 10.  I've been playing ever since!  I studied with Dr. William Albin at Miami Universtiy (Ohio) while in high school as well as with Judy Moonert at Western Michigan University.  I was classically trained at WMU (Orchestra, Symphonic Band, etc.) but was very active playing the drumset for the faculty jazz quartet.
