During his time at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Jones served as a coach for flute ensembles, taught supplementary flute lessons for undergraduate students, worked as the orchestra manager and librarian and also worked with professors as a teaching assistant. I soon began leading masterclasses for the flute students of the local middle and high schools. Most recently, I taught a masterclass to a large group (30-40) of high school flute students.
