I assign method books, etudes (studies), and repertoire appropriate for the playing level of the student. My teaching emphasizes fundamentals first for students of every level. This fundamental study supports students in their pursuit of their musical and artistic goals. The method books I recommend students begin with are in the Rubank series, either Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced. Etudes to supplement will be the Cavally Melodious and Progressive studies. I had worked with a public primary school’s students and had some experience to work with 6 classes (each contains 60 students) before I earned a Bachelor's Degree during required practical training. Through explaining music knowledge to children from 6-year-olds to 12-year-olds I learned to communicate with people with patient explanations and the deep understanding of people’s situations.
