Allison is a flutist from Miami, FL, who has been playing since she was 9 years old. A graduate from University Miami with several scholarships, as well as finishing up her Master's under scholarship from University of North Texas, she has studied with some of the top instructors in the country. I taught throughout my time in college as well. I took a short break after graduating with my master's but have since returned to teaching in the Rockwall area. Since most of the students I teach are members of a band program, I make sure that most of my lessons are based on what is being learned at school. Planning an individual practice schedule is imperative for their success but at the same time make it enjoyable so the student will want to practice. For older students, I begin them in the Trvor Wye Method for Beginning Flute Students.
