This fundamental study supports students in their pursuit of their musical and artistic goals. I usually start with the Rubank Elementary Method book. There are four books in the series and they are very comprehensive. Once the student progresses to the Intermediate book, I also add Selected Duets Volume 1. I have found that playing duets strengthens listening skills and intonation, plus they are fun! During my college years, I worked as a graduate teaching assistant which allowed me to help students primarily in music.
