My love for music began at a very early age and I was blessed to realize, very soon, that it was my passion.I began performing at the age of 13 on clarinet, in voice, and on drums and percussion. It starts out very simple so students of all ages can learn and progress very quickly. I will teach students all the correct fingerings and the alternate fingerings. I will teach students how to read, write, and sight read sheet music. Aim for 5 to 6 days of practice EVERY week. Consistency is key, even if it is only for 15 minutes! Whatever you do, make sure you practice right after your lesson AND the day following - retention will be 90%! When practicing, aim 3 times in a row flawlessly. It's important to avoid any bad habits and beginning students are lucky in that they have the opportunity to establish proper technique from the very start.
