I began teaching private flute lessons while in college in Ohio, and really expanded my individual lesson techniques while living in Phoenix. In addition to teaching large groups of flute beginners and intermediate students within the band setting at a public elementary school, I also excel in teaching beginners individeually at whatever age. During his time at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Jones served as a coach for flute ensembles, taught supplementary flute lessons for undergraduate students, worked as the orchestra manager and librarian and also worked with professors as a teaching assistant.
