I began teaching privately in 1999 when i started music school at the university of alabama. I then moved to Miami in 2006where i taught through the school of music. I prefer to focus on the joy of making music and the satisfaction of learning through accomplishment! In order to achieve this, I will try my best to keep lessons upbeat (pun intended), fast paced, and fun! Especially for younger students, I will use games and interactive activities to keep the student engaged, although I do believe games are good for the soul at all ages.
