My teaching experience goes back to my school days, when I began teaching my junior students. After teaching guitar for 8 years, I got to meet many students with different goals and skill levels. my teaching style is fun and fast. as each student progresses at their own pace. it is very important to set realistic goals. i motivate kids by giving them stickers for each exercise they passed. and that allows them to study and practice more. after they finish a method book, they receive a certificate of achievement. i can successfully guide students thru any challenges they go thru in the music learning process. that gives them the motivation to keep going. i teach them discipline and to have a consistent practicing schedule. When it comes to guitar and bass, it depends mostly on whether the student is interested in learning songs, or becoming a well rounded musician.
