I began helping my friends work through their music when I was 19 at Missouri Western State University, and eventually cultivated a bustling studio of students through word of mouth. One of my professors Mike Lacopelli was the recording engineer for Parliament as well as ran live sound for Aretha Franklin for 8 years. Later in my college career I began playing synthesizer with a band and working for Delta States Studio. I started teaching private lessons to a few students in my free time, and this early experience helped me develop effective teaching techniques.
