From there I develop a curriculum tailored to both the student's current level of musical knowledge as well as what interests them. I've experienced a range of different students, from beginner to advanced, as well as children who were special needs students. My four years playing in the Navy was an experience in learning that could not have been accomplished elsewhere. I traveled the world performing concerts everywhere and finally ending up being the lead trumpet with the then brand new Orlando Naval Training Center Show Band. After leaving the Navy, I formed my own show band and toured the US for five years, playing night clubs and backing up such entertainers as The Four Aces, Joanne Castle, Bobby Rydell, Fats Domino, Dick Contino and Al Hirt.
