Since moving to LA, I have played hundred of local shows, toured around the US and to Russia, including playing the main stages at festivals with many thousands in attendance. I have recorded on records that have sold several million copies, including Robbie Williams (and his hit UK single "Candy") as well One Direction on their "Midnight Memories" album. I have worked with producers who's credits include Snow Patrol, U2, REM, Taylor Swift, One Direction, Robbie Williams, Silversun Pickups, The Fray, James Blunt, Neil Diamond, and many many more.Since starting my love for composition at 7, I continues to write and record, not only singing, but playing guitar, bass guitar, piano/keys, drums, mandolin, and harmonica, as well as producing and engineering, and mixing the session himself. Around the age of 15, after about five years of performing, I started teaching guitar lessons to kids around my community and discovered a love for sharing my musical knowledge with others. When I went on to college, I continued teaching individual students and in my sophomore year joined a volunteer teaching group called SLAM! Hello! Playing violin is one of my favorite things to do, and I like to enable others to share my love of the instrument. I graduated from the University of Redlands in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music, and played in the University's orchestra and various chamber groups while studying there. My lessons are pretty straight forward. We begin with understanding body posture and alignment for singing. Once in good posture, I encourage breath flow while maintaining good alignment. A good exercise for breath control and release is taking a deep breath in 10 seconds, holding the expansion or suspension for 10 seconds and then releasing (NOT PUSHING) the breath in an s sound, all while maintaining a tall and expanded posture.
