I have privately taught students from ages five to 56. Since I recently came out of college, I have about one year of experience teaching students part time. I also have experience teaching groups of elementary school students the violin. I encourage students to practice a certain number of hours every day according to his or her playing level. My students are encouraged to enter recitals and competitions so they can feel more accomplished and motivated to learn. Read More

I excel in repertoire finding and coaching, and I like to give song options to students— though it is up to the singer to perform what they like. I studied flute at a performing arts high school and at Arkansas State under Joe Bonner.
