In 2012, I had the chance to attended the yearly Summer Berklee Program, which takes place in Perugia (Italy) during the Umbria Jazz festival and I won a scholarship for the yearly Berklee Summer Camp. A year later I attended the Five-Week program at Berklee, Boston and got another scholarship that allowed me to enroll at Berklee College of Music in 2014 as an undergraduate student. My passion for singing dates back to when I was a child, singing in choirs and performing in churches. In 2011, I graduated from the Greatbach School of Music at Houghton College, earning a bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance with honors. I have been blessed to perform in several regional theatre productions, as well as two off-Broadway shows. I have brought my love of coaching and teaching to these productions. My trumpet students have placed first in both regional and state competitions performing in both small and large ensembles. The wind ensembles I conducted also have participated in WASBE Conference, Jeju International Wind Ensemble Festival, WMC Kerkrade, and Midwest Clinic.
