My teaching experience began in 2011. A friend of mine had bought a guitar and did not know a single thing about the instrument. he asked me if I could teach him how to play. After a few weeks of methods that I taught him and, exercises he was able to play the guitar without frustration. Then I will introduce some music that helps developing fingers appropriately and beautiful at the same time, such as Lemoine and Burgnlueller. With a combination of videos for inspiration, singing for audiation, and moving for connection to the instrument and how our muscles respond to it. My lessons rarely consist of sitting for the entire time. I believe that in the short time we have in lessons, it is more important to expose students to a variety of resources to investigate their new endeavor than it is to repeat repertoire for the sake of a quick result.
