The most important part of teaching for me is trying to make sure students are growing a passion for music, and that I am helping them in that way throughout the entire process. I've had teachers in my past that I felt didn't care for my interests, and were impatient with abilities, and those lessons always pushed me away from wanting to pursue music. As a private instructor, I want nothing more for my students than to see them flourish and succeed at their craft, but fun and passion always comes first in my book. Read More

I am an instructor who emphasizes student success, happiness, fulfillment and result. I find that the most effective method with beginners is to color code things in a way that makes sense. I have stickers for this and a chart of what each means. Music is similar to math, and once the student can make proper associations in their head when looking at music or playing an instrument, the rest becomes easier. I typically will have them give me a song they want to learn and make it my goal to teach it to them by the end of the first six months. Read More

The most important is to undersrand what a new student's goals are with their music education. I wouldn't want to push someone to do something that they simply aren't interested in, but I usually am able to help someone develop interest in areas that they don't already have an interest in. For example, many beginning drummers are sure that they only have interest in playing drum set for a band. Read More

Why did you choose your primary instrument?
Because was what it was accessible at my house. Also my dad played guitar with so much taste that got me exited at a very young age. He was exited for me to learn and he considered very difficult task to learn guitar and even more for a kid that wants to play other kind of games too. I finished having guitar reunions with my dad and cancelling my other kind of games reunions that I use to have with my friends. Dad said that if I learn to play guitar he will get me a guitar for me so he did. After he thought all the songs and knowledge he had. He said now you are ready to go to private lessons with the best musician in town that we were lucky that my new teacher was an old friend of my family and the best musician in town.
What musical accomplishments are you most proud of?
I' m proud to play in big venues as theaters and big performance halls for concerts. Play and collaborate with amazing musicians. Being accepted by important musicians, producers and composers. Hard work and passion pays off. I m grateful for all the work and collaborations but for some reason I fell very proud to be able to expand my knowledge in music to the point of learning hundreds of instruments. Compose and record all kinds of music. It really seem impossible to accomplish what I have accomplish in music. Hard work pays off.
Have any of your students won awards or been selected for special honors? How have they succeeded?
Yes my students have been able to incorporate with good and famous bands playing in important venues. As for recording their own material with their creations. Others have achieve being accepted by renowned music schools and conservatories. Some others have enjoyed joining the art of teaching. As with engineering and producing, my students have achieve work for Tv, working in a recording studio or doing demos and commercials for their clients. Some of my students had achieved to perform in gigs with me.
What do you think is the hardest thing to master on your instrument?
Every instrument as any profession in life has easiest possibilities and hardest posibillities. Piano has more independence than guitar. In piano you could be playing a totally different parts in each hand. So Piano is more difficult for independence but is easy to know the name of the notes all over the keyboard seeing it very clear all the notes. In the guitar can be difficult to figure it out the name of a group of notes further in the fret board. The difficult thing of voice is that you don't see your instrument. In voice tuning can be difficult compare with other instruments that just by moving the hardware of a guitar can find the tuning you are looking. But in voice your ears, your health, your feelings can influence in your voice. You can sound out of tune cause your voice is tired or sick.
