My music career spans back to 2011 where I classically trained in viola for 8 years traveling all over the world to perform in ensembles. For young beginning students, I really like to emphasize the fundamentals using whatever book the student uses for their band class. Once they get a good grasp on the fundamentals, then I start to introduce some solo repertoire appropriate to their skill level. For students who are older, I like to find out what area of the trumpet they want to improve on and structure our lessons to try and improve on those areas, as well as incorporate other fundamentals and solo repertoire. I try to make the lessons as fun as possible and geared towards what the student wants to learn. I am so excited to see my students grow in their vocal craft. Using correct placement and vocal methods, I hope for all of my students to develop healthy, fluid, and consistency of sound flow! I promise I am patient, kind, empathetic, and I understand that while getting proper vocal technique is important, there is nothing more important than mental health.
