My teaching experience goes all the way back to 2003, when I was a percussion section leader in junior high school. I was a section leader throughout high school and on into my undergraduate degree in percussion. This involved both teaching groups of my peers but also giving individual attention to anyone who needed the extra help. I work with my students on building musicality in their playing/singing by changing dynamics, phrasing, and musical articulations. After high school, I took on a couple of private students for my college professors, whom I intermittently taught throughout my bachelors degree.
