I teach Classically trained Violin, viola, and piano. I am equally comfortable teaching very beginners as well as high school and adult students. I am very honest in my feedback. I like to stick to the former. I strongly believe that a good, strong foundation leads to fewer problems in the future and makes the process of music-making much more enjoyable. I began teaching private lessons about two and a half years ago, in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. I had students there that ranged in age from five to fifty, and it was such a joy to watch them grow! I am comfortable teaching students of all levels and ages, no one is ever too young or too old to learn an instrument in my opinion. I been involved with preparing students for NYSSMA ( New York State School Music Association) where my students have received outstanding grades from NYSSMA. I make sure the student fully understands everything that is expected of them, and will instill a strong sense pride in my students success. I adapt to the students speed and believe genuine encouragement will get the best results out of them at all times.
