Students learn at different rates, so, therefore, I want each student to progress at his or her own pace, without comparison to where my other students may be at. My first experience with teaching was as a 15 year old counselor at a week long violin summer camp in Maine that my private teacher was running. It was a really fun summer of outdoor violin practice, board games, fishing, swimming, watching movies and cooking together. Since then, I have been teaching private lessons and also enjoyed 2 summers teaching at Interlochen. I have taught college music appreciation classes, high school and middle band as well as elementary music.
