Instruments: Piano Saxophone Flute Clarinet
I vary my methods according to student level, age, and practice habits. For example, for the advanced high school student I often mold my teachings around college audition requirements and all-state, regional band auditions. Instruments: Piano
I throughly enjoy making music. I started taking piano lessons when I was 5 years old and continued taking all the way through graduate school at TCU, where I graduated in 2016. Playing solo and collaborating with fellow musicians are still some of my favorite pass times. I enjoy playing all kinds of genres: Classical, pop, worship, Bossa Nova. Some of my most memorable experiences have been collaborative. From playing piano duets in grade school, singing in church choir, to accompanying in semi-professional competitions, like the Young Texas Artists Competition, I find performing with others is fun and exciting. Instruments: Piano Voice
Because the voice is the only instrument we cannot see with the naked eye, voice lessons must be extremely interactive. I believe in catering each lesson towards the goals of the individual student. I also believe in the collaboration of teacher and student. I am always asking students opinions or reactions on what we work on in the lesson. I want to empower my students at every level to become more aware of their instrument to the point that they can eventually become their own teacher to a certain extent. Read More
