I customize lessons for each student because of different levels, goals, and tastes. For children, I usually start with a beginning method book such as Alfreds or Bastien. I introduce the fundamentals and work at the speed of the student, encouraging daily practice. I like to keep my lessons upbeat and fun so I always incorporate pieces that are recognizable to the student. If a student has a favorite tune from an artist, band, or a movie I will find them an arrangement that best suits their level. Read More

I start with books based on levels where we learn new things gradually. Whenever I feel that a student is ready, we start learning more advanced classical composers cause that's where real music starts. I wanna show all my students that they can play these songs, and everything is possible. You just need to do your homework everyday, be patient, and you will see the results. I began my musical education with violin at age five and then with viola at ten. I went to Yewon Arts Middle School and Seoul Arts High School with viola. I won the Music Journal Competition and held my winner recital in Seoul, South Korea at age sixteen. After moved to Orange County, California, I continued my musical education with Iman Khosrowpour and Robert Becker. For begginging piano sudents who are children I typicall being with John Thompson's "Teaching Little Fingers to Play." Once the student has completed their fundemental training we being to introduce more solo repertoire tailored to their interested. We work on one classical and one comtemporary song of their choosing. For adult piano students, we discuss their goals and what they are interested in and I tailor my instruction no matter their instrumental expereince.  For Voice students I asses each vocalist and provide a completley unique one of kind vocal lesson package tailored to the students ability, sound, and experience no matter what that may be.
