Since I began studying at a young age, I have a special love and passion for helping my students with the piano. Teaching students from five years to 75 years, I am thankful my teaching experience has been very diverse; I enjoy the challenge of an advanced student, and the energy of a new student; always looking to bring on new students of all ages. Music is a passion of mine, and Im so thankful I have the opportunity to share it with others! In 2013 I graduated from Bryan College with a BS in Piano Performance. I was blessed with many performance opportunities during college, including piano recitals, musical showcases, accompanying performers and chamber ensemble music. Although I enjoy performing, teaching is my first passion. I studied music very seriously as a child, which led to many performance opportunities in the area and around the world! I fell in love with classical music while watching Leonard Bernstein conduct the NY Philharmonic as a young boy.In 1979 I graduated from Eastern Nazarene College with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Music Education. For the past 40 plus years I have taught music to children and adults in school and church settings, and at a performing arts center.
