Both students I've taught have had entirely different goals, one just trying to learn drumset and the other wanting to learn a song for his talent show. I was given the opportunity to work as a vocal consultant at the middle school level in 2016 and coached the students one-on-one on their region competition pieces. The following year, I taught private voice lessons of which most were beginning students.
