Students learn basic music material rhythmic awareness and basic reading during the first two years, while the fundamentals of music theory and form are stressed in years three and four. Students continue the work begun in the elementary coursework, including more advanced sight-reading. The repertoire is expanded to include longer selections. Pre-Advanced Piano Classes Beginning in middle and high school, students enter Senior Classes, which requires more complicated repertoire and more intensive technical training. Read More

I started teaching in a local studio while I was going to college. I majored in jazz guitar and minored in classical piano. Had some education classes but a classroom was not for me.
