For older students, I like to use our first complimentary 30-minute lesson to discuss their personal goals and create a basic lesson plan. With EVERY student, I implement the use of flashcards, games, videos, interactive experiences, and enjoyable homework assignments that will teach the student how to play the piano, read sheet music, understand music theory, and appreciate music as a whole.
