I started teaching over 8 years ago, and currently teach many private students in their homes. I have also taught at Music And Arts, in many of their facilities over the years. I teach several instruments including guitar, bass, piano, drums and voice. Students of any age or skill level are welcome to take lessons with me, and I can work to achieve their goals—whether it’s just to sing around the campfire with friend or to tour the world and become a professional musician. I began piano lessons with my mother at the age of 8. At 17 I began studies with Irma Harter at the Edith McIntosh School of Music on Long Island, New York. I earned her Bachelor's degree at Adelphi University, where I studied exclusively with acclaimed concert and recording artist David Bradshaw. I also studied with Laurie Ticehurst-Poole at the Bryn Mawr Conservatory from 1996 to 2005, where I participated in master classes. I have performed in recitals at Carnegie Hall's Weill Concert Hall, and I participated in an international piano festival. Read More

I began teaching lessons in college, but grew my studio while I was preparing for grad school auditions from 2010-2012. Most of my students at that time were beginner piano lessons and I love to teach young children. I also greatly enjoy teaching children with autism. I have had success in combining my music education and music therapy skills to help students accomplish musical goals while also addressing behavioral goals such as increasing verbal or nonverbal communication. I really love teaching because my mother is a piano teacher. I saw her teaching since I was very young. My mom is a very passionate teacher and her lesson was never boring. I can see the excitement from both of her and her students when she was teaching. When I become a piano teacher, I hope I can become someone like my mom who is always positive, passionate and enthusiastic but still very strict. Read More
