Consistent practice is a must for me! Even if it's 20 - 30 minutes a day, every bit of practice helps and I'm a strong believer in the idea that repetition is the key to success. I want my students to do whatever they can to continue building on their technique whether it's NYSSMA, auditions, recitals, shows in and out-of-school you name it I encourage it! Lastly, fun is immensely vital to a successful lesson for me. Read More

From intimate venues to prestigious concert halls, each stage has been a canvas for artistic expression. One of the most unforgettable moments was gracing the iconic Museum of Modern Art l in New York, where I shared my love for the saxophone and jazz with a captivated audience. These experiences have not only shaped me as a musician but also fueled my passion for teaching. I believe in fostering a nurturing and inspiring learning environment where students can explore their creativity and unlock their musical potential. Read More

The most important thing for me as a teacher is to see my students having fun, and really enjoying learning their instrument. I want to see them be passionate about getting better because they’re excited about what’s coming next. By learning about the students goals, and also learning about their musical taste and the kinds of music that inspire them, I can create a lesson plan that totally dedicated to each individual student so that they get the most out of their lesson, and so that I get them closer to their goal.
