I am a piano/music teacher with extensive experience of over 45 years.  I have been teaching many students over the years in my studio, in their homes, at Temple University – 30 years, in many Music Schools and Conservatories.  My students are children 8 years old and older and adults of every age.  I am always tailoring my teaching according to the needs and potential of my students.  I motivate my students and encourage them to practice consistently and play.  I try to convey to my students my love and passion for music and the piano so that they can be inspired and love the music that they practice and play.  I encourage my students to play in the recitals I organize and enter competitions to achieve results as well as enjoyment. In 2009, I moved to the east coast to continue my education at William Paterson University. My teaching style is relaxed and organic. Don't get me wrong, we will work hard! But it will be fun and enriching. I teach my students to appreciate the music they make, and to listen to themselves for what is working well, in addition to what can be improved. It has been truly rewarding to see students' growth when they smile after finishing learning a song! Recently I did a practice flute challenge for my students, they were rewarded with a gift card if they completed the number of minutes they needed for 4 weeks. Having a goal in mind for them, pushed them to practice different things with a focused mindset.
