For the past 9 years I taught over 550 children and adults of different levels piano, theory, sight-reading, and play a variety of classical musical compositions at a fast rate. I arranged the following piano ensemble music for students: Piano duos, Piano 6 Hands, 4 Pianos 8 Hands, Piano trios, and Piano quartets. I held piano recitals with all of her students every year. For piano I prefer Faber Piano Adventures and have different books I would recommend starting with depending on the students age and experience. For guitar and ukulele I prefer using the Hal Leonard method books. I often supplement these method books with outside sources and pieces as is appropriate for the student. For singing students, I have a wide variety of books and resources depending on the musical style. I come from a classical voice background, so when students are middle school age and older (sometimes earlier) we begin learning Italian Art songs in addition to musical theater pieces and English folk songs.
