Some highlights of my teaching career include working with A Gift for Music to give Title 1 schools access to the fine arts, being a cabin counselor and cello instructor for young musicians at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, and providing private lessons at The Orlando School of Music. All these experiences created a burning desire for higher fine arts education, culminating in my part in the co-creation of the Central Florida Cello Association, an organization which provides the UCF cello studio with multiple masterclasses a year given by world class artists and acclaimed educators. In 2011 I performed with the string orchestra as part of the 50/20 celebration in the British Embassy of Kuwait for the VIP guests, including Prince Charles Attendance (2011). I performed in the following school productions: ”The Phantom of the Opera” (2009) ,’’My Fair Lady’’(2010),” Blood Brothers” (2011), ’’Evita’’(2012),’’Jack and the Beanstalk’’ (2013),’’The Lion King’’ (2014). From 2006-2008 I was employed as an accompanist for the Kuwait Singers Choir. I have enjoyed a freelance career as a music teacher, composer. performer, recording engineer. producer, and a multi instrumentalist.
