I am a passionate and devoted piano teacher with a real love of music and a strong desire to pass my knowledge onto others. I took seven years of piano lessons in grade school and graduated from Florida State College with an Associate of Arts in Music degree. I also played piano in the Charlton County High School Jazz Ensemble and at the United Methodist Church. For beginner piano students, I have two methods books that I use. For young children, I use the Bastion Piano Basics series. It is colorful, fun, and exciting for young learners. It is also very informative, so parents can help their young ones practice if they need the help! For beginning adult students, I use the Faber Adult Piano Adventures series, as this is more tailored to older students. It is less focused on colorful visuals, and uses language geared toward older learners. Read More
