Ibegan teaching private lessons from 2004 and tried to consistently teaching students in my home studio. I was a counselor and private lesson instructor at the OSU Flute Workshop from 2011 to 2013. Playing duets with student, learn very exciting extended techniques, and various repertoire are features I emphasize for students to help them enjoy and motivate to learn. I currently teach piano lessons at Trinity under the name of Joseph’s Piano, and at That Music Place in Springboro and Bella Musica in Miamisburg. Some of my past performances include piano accompaniment for Ohio Performing Arts Musicals and the Clark State Community College Chorus. While in high school at Springfield Shawnee, I played the pipe organ at Wittenberg University’s Weaver Chapel. I normally start out with the Faber and Faber Piano Adventures methods books for the piano students. This includes a lesson book and a theory book. The lesson book will teach the student the physical skill of playing piano by presenting them with leveled songs to learn. The theory book will focus more on the mechanics of music and playing and require some written work.
