From my childhood, I had a desire to take piano lessons. My parents were not able to provide the lessons so I delivered newspapers to pay for the tuition. The amount of income does not cover fully for the tuition but I never gave up. So we study chords and rhythms, as they relate to the songs the client enjoys. I like to insert a five to ten minute practice before digging into the main lesson. This involves playing scales or running chord progressions or learning about, for example, the circle of 5ths or 4ths. Furthermore, I update and change my methods if I feel the current method is becoming ineffective.
