My musical career started as a singer growing up in Washington DC. I have been playing saxophone for almost 15 years and have been composing for 8. I have maintained a private studio for 6 years and have taught students from 8-18. I have lots of experience singing and playing in lots of different genres of music and have always maintained the importance of being able to play in multiple genres. As I went through high school I began to realize that I had a knack for teaching young players one-on-one as opposed to a large classroom, this is what inspired me to study music performance as opposed to music education.
