My teaching experience began in high school when I first began teaching private lessons. I have taught dozens of students individually in the last decade. I have taught college music appreciation classes, high school and middle band as well as elementary music. My time in an elementary classroom has taught me patience as an educator and I apply that patience and meticulous attention to detail into my private studio. I began teaching through my high school mentorship program in Texas during the early 2000s. Since then I have obtained my Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Northwestern State University, as well as a Master's degree in Trombone Performance. I did a semester of student teaching with the award winning Argyle High School band program in Argyle, Texas in 2012. I have additional experience teaching at the college level by providing weekly lessons to music students who played trombone as a graduate teaching assistant. Read More
