My #1 passion is teaching music. I'm currently the band teacher at Cary Christian School. I've been playing trombone professional for almost 20 years, my most recent gigs were playing for Princess Cruises full time, and been teaching for 20 years. My passion for playing isn't what it used to be, so I'm focusing my musical efforts on teaching. I've been teaching trumpet since I was a freshman in High School. My mother is a band director for Selma Middle School and frequently asks me to tutor students or conduct a group session. After High School, many private teaching opportunities opened up for me, including Hope Middle School, Red Wood Middle School, Clinton Middle School, as well as brass tech for Topsail High School and Clinton High School.
