I have primarily been a church musician for the past 15 years, but have also played in drum and bugle corps, orchestra and concert style bands. My main instrument is the trumpet, having played for 35 years. I give lessons on all brass instruments, although trumpet is my primary. I can teach any style. I have played guitar for about 25 years and my primary focus is classical or accoustic. Within a month, you should be able to play all the notes of the C Major scale. I will be available to answer any questions you might have, and I will make sure that you start out with the correct mouth shape, or "embouchure". This is critical to establish and get right at first, so I will make sure you start playing correctly, with correct hand placements, and such.
