I am a graduate of LIU Post who holds a Bachelors of Music in Music Education, Trombone Studies. During my time at LIU, I spent time taking lessons in clarinet, tuba, baritone horn/euphonium, piano, and trumpet. I am currently a Chorus/General Music teacher in Roosevelt. In addition to my day time job, I have maintained a small low brass studio but am looking to expand. For students who are just starting out on their instruments, I typically use the Essential Elements book for band, as I believe this is the best book for beginning young students. However, if the student or parent has another book they feel would be better for their growth, I am always open to suggestions. I also do audition prep for students preparing for performing arts schools. For my adult students, I encourage them to enter competitions and audition for bands.
