I am a passionate and motivated instructor with a love for working with students of all ages and levels. I hold four degrees in violin performance and have been teaching for nineteen years. I am a violinist with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic. I teach a mixture of Traditonal and Suzuki. I offer a strong studio environment and love to help students reach their goals. With over a decade of experience teaching, Nerea has taught music to thousands of students in private and group lessons as well as in ensembles and schools. Although Nerea has taught and continues to teach Beginner to Advanced Violin, from ages 3 - 53, her specialty is "Fiddle" music. She is highly knowledgeable in Cape Breton, Scottish, Irish, traditional Breton, Celtic and World music. She has prepared students for Trinity and ABRSM exams, taught by ear and/or sight reading, followed diverse methods requested such as Suzuki and has prepared students for countless performances.
