I encourage regular practice, as students who feel they are progressing and doing well tend to enjoy their instrument more. I then went to college as a string player and played in multiple orchestras and took part in recitals nearly weekly during my time there. I am a passionate instructor who enjoys working with students of all ages. I started performing, professionally, at a very young age, during my 6 years at the Alabama School of Fine Arts. From there, I attended the Louisiana State University, as a cello performance major and performed with the school symphony, as well as the Alexandria Symphony, the Lake Charles Symphony and local venues. I went on to get my Master's degree at Georgia State University and then returned to Louisiana State University for my final degree in Cello Performance. Read More

My teaching experience spans 6 years. I've taught all ages, so I'm comfortable with everybodys learning pace. In college I studied under the Latin Grammy award winning La Catrina Quartet, and I hope to pass down the knowledge I gain from that experience to my students. Later on she created her private studio when she arrived in Texas in 2007 after finishing her music studies, which she continues to do until the present day .
